Our Mission
Friends is a nonprofit group formed to enhance Stagecoach State Park's recreational resources, support educational and interpretive activities, sponsor park improvement projects, and connect people to the outdoors.
The Park is located in Oak Creek, Colorado 17 miles south of Steamboat Springs.

Park Events - We have exciting events planned for this summer. Be sure to register for the Safety Paddle on June 27. Preregistration is be required. You can register here.
Park Clean Up - On May 3 our 17 volunteers gather trash and debris from most of the Park. Don’t forget to record your hours with CPW if you participated!
Sun Shade - The Sun Shade is on its way! We hope to installed it in early July.
Members Meeting - A meeting of all members is tentatively scheduled for the fourth week of July. We will be voting on Board of Director Members. If you would like to be on the Board, please notify one of the current officers.
Notifications providing complete details will be emailed to each member in early July.
Photo Contest - After much delay, the photo contest is now open for your submissions. Check out the Photo Contest page for full details.
Document Review - The officers will be seeking guidance from the members at our July meeting on changes to the Bylaws. If you want to read the original documents for yourself, they are available on the Members Only page. Contact one of the officers if you are a member and don’t have the password.
